Understanding the importance of content in search engine optimisation

One important rule of SEO is that ‘Content is Key’. All content on a website must be unique if you want to rank well. In addition to this, content on page needs to be optimised for the chosen keywords. It must be made clear to Google which keywords are being targeted in the content so that it is able to rank the page accordingly for those keywords.

This must be done with great care though as it’s easy to overdo it and have content that reads badly and doesn’t make grammatical sense.
