Implement the right internal linking structure for better success
For any SEO campaign, it is vital that there is an intelligent internal linking structure in place throughout the website. This is basically where links are found in the content, linking to other pages in the website targeted by some of the chosen keywords. This linking structure can be in vain though if it’s not done correctly with relevant links targeting the correct phrases.
The importance of internally linking a site should never be underestimated and it should be implemented with the utmost care. If there are too many links on each page then Google will see this as a quick and cheap attempt at making the site seem more important than it is and the pages relevance will be penalised in the rankings. Also if there isn’t enough internal linking on each page then Google won’t see it at all and the rankings won’t be affected. For once, it’s better to have too little rather than too much.
